These amusing pieces were designed by Lørdag & Søndag, inspired by the style of Japanese artist Anri Okada, who then intervened them with her unique color palette. They were hand-carved by artisan Carlos Flores in the town of San Salvador El Seco. Anri is originally from Saitama, Japan, and currently resides in Mexico City. Her distinctive style blends reality with illusion and modernity with the primitive, drawing inspiration from mythologies, traditions, and the everyday life of the places she visits.
