Sombreros are an essential part of the diverse traditional apparel of the peoples of Mexico, worn at work, in everyday life, and during the most significant festivities. Our sombreros were made by Don Claudio Ordaz, from the Mazatec mountains of the state of Oaxaca, who applied his experience as a hat weaver for the Huehuentones (dancers who represent the souls of the deceased during the Day of the Dead) to these designs, which exemplify the playful nature of Lørdag & Søndag, as well as their inspiration from traditional and modern Mexico.
