This decorative wall hanger was hand-made by two great artisans. Firstly, Felipe from Campeche, hand-carves the wood to this unique shape; secondly, Rubén from Hidalgo, attaches the Ixtle fiber using a hand-made brush technique.
Ixtle fiber comes from a specific type of Maguey -Agave Lechugilla- and it has been used in Mexico since pre-hispanic times.

Esta pieza decorativa de pared fue hecha a mano por dos increíbles artesanos. Primeramente, Felipe de Campeche, talla la madera a mano para crear esta particular forma; una vez terminada la pieza de madera, Rubén de Hidalgo, agrega la fibra de Ixtle usando una técnica para hacer cepillos a mano. La fibra del Ixtle proviene de un tipo específico de Maguey -Agave Lechugilla- y se ha usado en México desde tiempos prehispánicos.
